In 2011, I was part of the children’s ministry team at a church in South Florida. As the lead for Little Worship, I began looking for a preschool curriculum to teach our young ones the foundations of Reformed church doctrine during the Sunday sermon. Believing that preschool-aged children need more than entertainment in a children’s ministry program and finding little on the market to work with, I created a curriculum, Building Little Pillars, that works through the Apostles’ Creed, 10 Commandments, and the Lord’s Prayer. Each story and activity was crafted for my son and his classmates.
This passion continued into a second curriculum, Lead Me to Zion, that teaches young children Covenant Theology.
Building Little Pillars
Like the wise man in Scripture, we want our children’s spiritual foundations to run deep, providing stability and protection. With training to se their minds on God’s truth and anchor them to resources that have strengthened the Church for centuries, our children can stand strong when their faith is tested by doubt and the storms of life.
Building Little Pillars equips them with strong supports! Through Bible memory, Bible stories, hands-on learning, and life applications of spiritual truths found in the Apostles’ Creed, the Ten Commandments, and the Lord’s Prayer, Building Little Pillars lays a firm foundation for covenant children as they begin their journey of faith.
Use Building Little Pillars at church, school, home, or homeschool to strengthen children’s faith through the teaching of sound Reformed doctrines.

Lead Me to Zion
“Child of the Covenant.” The title is used at baptism and throughout the life of a believer, but what does it mean?
It means believers and their children have been part of the plan God developed before time began. It means each of the promises God has made to mankind throughout history is extended to them as well. It means we as parents and teachers have the privilege and responsibility to tell and remind our children of God’s covenant-promises and how each promises leads us to Jesus.
Lead Me to Zion is a resource to introduce children ages 4 to 8 to the enduring covenantal love of God for His people throughout history. With inviting, well-told Bible lessons and engaging activities for every type of learner, Lead Me to Zion teaches the term “Covenant Theology” is more than church knowledge or helpful facts to answer Sunday school questions. Children will learn Covenant Theology is knowing the powerful love which binds us forever to our Creator and that through Jesus Christ every promise of God is fulfilled.
